1st September 2026 [Farnham, Surrey] – Audiophile Digital Music Masters Ltd (ADMM), the specialist distributor of high-performance digital audio and network products, is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Baillie as General Manager, effective 1 September 2026. The appointment marks a new chapter for ADMM, as founder and industry veteran Alan Ainslie steps back following his long tenure leading the business.

ADMM is best known as the UK and European distributor of DELA, formerly known as Melco network servers and switches. The company also supplies and distributes ADOT optical digital products and PLiXiR high-quality power supplies and mains products.
Founded and led by Alan Ainslie, ADMM has built a strong reputation within the specialist audio industry. Alan has been a leading figure in digital audio for more than five decades. During his long career at Technics, he played a role in the finalisation of the standardisation of the Compact Disc format specification and was also involved in the success of the Virgin Classics label, helping the label achieve its first number one in the Classical Music Charts.
Commenting on the appointment, Alan Ainslie said: “I am delighted to be handing over the reins of ADMM to Chris. After many years of building the business and developing the brands we represent, it is extremely important to me that ADMM is in safe hands, hence appointing Chris as General Manager.
Chris brings the enthusiasm, commitment and vision needed to take ADMM forward, and I have every confidence that he will build on what we have established while bringing his own ideas and energy to the business. He shares my passion for high-quality digital audio and delivering the very best possible listening experience.
I look forward to seeing ADMM and its brands continue to grow under Chris’s leadership.”
Taking over the day-to-day leadership of ADMM, Chris Baillie intends to build on Alan’s considerable legacy and further raise the profile of ADMM’s brands across the UK and European markets.
Chris Baillie said:
“I am committed to improving digital music reproduction in homes through ADMM’s range of products. DELA, ADOT and PLiXiR’s products can deliver spectacular results by reducing digital noise and maintaining the integrity of digital streams.”
Under Chris’s leadership, ADMM will continue to focus on supporting its specialist dealer network and growing awareness of its brands, while maintaining the technical expertise and product-led approach on which the business has been built.
Chris has worked as a reviewer for various publications over the last five years. This experience and knowledge will bring a new dimension to ADMM.
