Cabasse unwraps PEARL KESHI: an ultraminiature 2.1 active system for the connected age

Cabasse announces the PEARL KESHI audio system. The latest addition to the French maker’s PEARL collection, KESHI is an ultra-compact 2.1 set-up featuring a connected, powered subwoofer and a pair of satellite speakers. The KESHI’s 22cm in diameter subwoofer houses 1050W (RMS) of digital amplification, and Cabasse equips the stunning sphere with Bluetooth, ethernet, optical, and wi-fi connectivity options. The result is a sound system offering arresting looks and almost total freedom when it comes to placement in the home.

The KESHI satellite speakers measure 8cm in diameter and float on chrome-plated steel stands like the subwoofer. This design provides sleek looks and limits the transmission of unwanted vibrations to the floor or surface. To help facilitate wall placement, Cabasse integrates brackets, enabling a choice of five angled positions. The tiny full-range speakers feature a new patented driver, including a 50-micrometre membrane, and  Cabasse applies four successive coats of matt paint to each component in the KESHI system.

The KESHI subwoofer provides brains as well as brawn. Connectivity is extensive – optical for home cinema system integration is present – and the system wirelessly streams the latest music streaming services, including Deezer, Qobuz, Spotify and TIDAL. The 2.1 set-up also works with the Cabasse StreamCONTROL multi-room system, while Bluetooth and 3.5mm options offer linking solutions for CD players and turntables.

The Cabasse design team has even left its creative mark on the supplied remote. The Bluetooth-connected control perfectly nestles into the palm of your hand, making for easy and intuitive control of the system. Cabasse presents the PEARL KESHI system in a dapper wood case, and each package includes:
