Innuos Pulsar Network Music Player Makes UK Debut At North West Audio Show

Innuos Pulsar

Innuos PULSAR is the top-tier network music player of the PULSE series and will be heard in the UK for the first time alongside its sibling player, PULSE, from 17 – 18 June 2023. The NorthWest HiFi Show is celebrating its eighth edition at the fabulous De Vere Estate, Cranage in Cheshire, UK. Innuos will also be in the Young Suite demonstrating its PhoenixNET audiophile-grade network switch and Sense app using the new innuOS Operating System 2.4 announced last month.

The PULSE Series of Network Music Players consists of three models: PULSEmini, PULSE and PULSAR, that are perfect for music lovers who mostly want to play music from HiFi streaming services like Qobuz, TIDAL and Highresaudio, or who just want another zone in their home connected to their main music server.

A/B demonstrations will be available between PULSAR and PULSE, providing a great opportunity to hear either of these two dynamic sources streaming HiFi music.

Both players will be running the new InnuOS 2.4 Operating System, introduced last month, which features support for the Highresaudio streaming service. The new OS also includes multi-album selection to play a mix, add to queue, play next, add to playlist, set as compilation, and set as multiformat. It can also merge artists, filter selected artists by genre and even splits album tracks. Details about innuOS 2.4 can be found on the Innsights Blog.

The demonstration system in the Young Suite will handle incoming streams through the Innuos PhoenixNET audiophile-grade network switch connected to the Innuos PULSAR and PULSE network music players. A Hegel H590 integrated amplifier will be handling DAC, preamp and amplification driving a pair of KEF Reference 1 Meta speakers will fill the room with sound. Power conditioning will be handled by Puritan’s PSM156. Cables will be from The Chord Company, and a Lateral Audio rack will house the components.

Visitors will be able to choose music using the Innuos Sense app, and hear it streamed direct to the system.

Innuos products can also be heard at partner rooms including Auden Distribution (Bell Suite), Doug Brady (Stephenson Suite), Brian & Trevors (Mercer), Kudos Audio (Banting), KEF (Wren Suite), Chord Company (Nobel Suite), and Electromod (Room 201).

Stephen Healy, UK Sales Manager and Kurt Heiden, Sr. Marketing Manager will be on hand to demonstrate and answer your questions.
