WIN! Final Audio Design Pandora Hope VI headphones!

WIN! Final Audio Design Pandora Hope VI headphones!

To celebrate Final Audio Design’s 40th Anniversary, we’ve teamed up with the brand – and its UK stockist, www.hifiheadphones.co.uk – to allow one lucky winner the chance to win a pair of excellent Pandora VI headphones.

Final Audio began developing magnetic cartridges and step-up transformers in 1974, but quickly surprised the market with giant horn speakers and metal turntables. Each housed unique technology: variegated metal fulcrums cancelled unwanted noise in Final Audio Design’s turntables, and the buttressing of its horn speakers with finely packed sand minimised signal loss.

Each product was ahead of the curve for its time. That still rings true today. The company’s skill and technology are focused on one thing: to prove to its customers how incredible sound can be. Final claims its “zeal to translate a musician’s passion from a recording to the ear will satisfy the most demanding lover of music”.

As a company that has built 800kg speakers, a one-piece diamond cantilever arm and stylus, amplifiers powered by a box of D-cell batteries, and the worlds most expensive earphones, that goal has never gone away.

Final Audio Design’s 40th year of manufacturing has been rung in with its first ever full-sized headphone. Handmade in Japan, this closed-back hybrid-driver, circumaural design merges a balanced armature with a 50mm diameter dynamic driver unit without needing a crossover. To ensure the headphones look, feel and sound exceptional, dedicated Japanese sound engineers used stainless steel and high-quality polished ABS thermoplastic resin to craft the housings of the Pandora VI. With headphones of this calibre you normally need a powerful amplifier, Final Audio Design have created an easy to drive headphone, which looks as beautiful as it sounds.
