GOLDMUND INTRODUCES THE TELOS 9800

Geneva, August 2026 – Goldmund introduces the Telos 9800, the new flagship of its amplifier collection, and the most advanced amplifier ever developed by the company.

Delivering 1560 watts into 8 ohms, the Telos 9800 represents more than an increase in power. It reflects Goldmund’s continued pursuit of a single ambition: creating conditions for a deeper, more faithful musical experience.

Conceived, engineered, and assembled in Switzerland, the Telos 9800 is built around an entirely new amplification platform. For the first time, the power supply and amplification stages are physically separated into two dedicated yet interconnected units, allowing each subsystem to operate under optimal conditions while reinforcing the product’s mechanical and electrical integrity.

At its core, Goldmund’s proprietary power management system combines 10 kVA of transformer capacity with the largest capacitor bank ever developed by the company, delivering 648 mF of stored energy. Together with the custom-designed capacitors, in-house engineered transformers, and a completely redesigned amplification stage built around next-generation power boards, this new platform delivers greater stability, instantaneous current delivery, and exceptional loudspeaker control under the most demanding conditions.

Fully symmetrical from input to output, with galvanic isolation between the power supply and amplification stages, the Telos 9800 preserves signal integrity while minimizing electromagnetic interference and unwanted noise. Stable down to a 1-ohm load and equipped with comprehensive protection systems, it has been engineered for uncompromising reliability.

Developed in collaboration with designer Cécile Barani, the Telos 9800 also introduces a new design language for Goldmund. Its architecture transforms a technical principle into a sculptural object, where two distinct volumes, precision-machined aluminum surfaces, a refined digital interface, and a discreet gold signature express a philosophy of design guided by purpose, balance, and restraint.
